In December 2011, express shipping giant FedEx placed an order for 27 new-build 767-300F freighters. The aircraft will replace the companys MD-10 aircraft. The first aircraft, N101FE (Hannah) was delivered in September 2013. The FedEx 767 fleet now numbers more than 100, and ship N277FE Ariella has a special 100th Boeing 767 sticker marking the event.
