Piedmont Commuter System was a large operator of the BAe Jetstream J31, with 47 aircraft being operated by two airlines CC Air and Jetstream International. The last 4 aircraft delivered to Jetstream before the final merger of Piedmont into USAir in August 1989 were delivered in a hybrid maroon color schememaroon being a primary color in USAirs then-current livery.
