Republic Airlines was created by the 1979 merger of Southern Airways and North Central Airlines. Following the 1980 buyout of Hughes Airwest, Republic became the worlds largest operator of the DC-9. Part of this fleet were 31 of the short-bodied DC-9-14/-15s. Our decal depicts the Republic DC-9-14/-15 fleet in this attractive turquoise scheme.
