In 2012, Swiss International Airlines simplified the color scheme of its aircraft. The fuselage title letters SWISS are enlarged, and the smaller alternate language translations of the word Swiss are dropped. Also eliminated are the red logo boxes formerly worn on the engine nacelles. The first A340-300 to be painted in this updated scheme is HB-JMK Aarau
