U.S. express carrier FedEx operates the worlds largest fleet of McDonnell Douglas trijets, with 104 DC-10s and 74 MD-11s having served in their fleet. The DC-10 fleet covered by this set included both DC-10-10 and DC-10-30s, some were factory-built as freighters and some are converted former passenger aircraft. A large number of these were converted by FedEx into MD-10s which were finally retired in 2022.
